For the past 40 years, JP II Resources has supported the USCCB annual themes with the distribution of The Catechist Journal throughout the US.
In 1985 and following, NCCD, now the National Conference of Catechetical Leadership or NCCL, proudly sponsored and promoted the Catechist Journal saying, "this Journal, in a most effective manner, fulfills the goal of NCCD to support and recognize the parish catechist. This spiritual diary will be a year-long reminder of the response of the Catechist in fulfillment of the unique call to teach as Jesus taught."

The Light of Faith Journal is offered for evangelists, catechists and teachers, parents and families, parish leadership and faith groups, pastoral ministers and anyone striving to live as a missionary disciple.
This year's Journal is undated and incorporates a more general theme in order to address the diverse needs of parishes in commissioning various ministries.
